Hurghada

Hurghada Hurghada is one of the most important Cities in Egypt and is located on the Red Sea Coast from the Southwestern Sector, Hurghada comprises of three main Neighbourhoods, which are the Dahar Neighbourhood, the Neighbourhood Neighbourhood and the Seqala Neighbourhood, which consists of approx.. Ninety Thousand Inhabitants that speak the diealec of a mixture of Egyptian and Bedouin, Hurghada has become one of the foremost leading places for Tourists to visit from all over the World. City History. Hurghada started to become familiar in the Tourist Industry in the beginning of 1980, this was because of the Natural beautiful Beaches and array of striking colorful Fish and the amazing Coral Reefs and of course the Sunshine. Many Investors started to begin their Tourist game plans in the Area by constructing Hotels and Resorts which has resulted in approx.. three Hundred and Fifty Hotels and Resorts, including Travel Agents, Diving Schools, Diving Centres and Safaris in the Present Day. City Travel Information, The City of Hurghada takes approx.. Six Hours Drive from Cairo and approx.. four and a half Hours from Luxor, and is the biggest City on the Red Sea. Hurghada International Airport makes it very accessable for travel to the City from all over the World and Egyptian Cities. There are many ways to travel to and from Hurghada from other Cities inside Egypt, there are Ferry Boats which Sail between Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, or Transportation Companies within Hurghada that leave to travel to Luxor, Cairo, Marsa Alam, Alexandria, and of course by taking Flights with Egypt Air, this makes the City within reach from anywhere. There are three sections which divide Hurghada City El Dahar Area which is the Old Area, and consists of the Old Bazaars and Markets, the Largest Masjed which means Mosque and Church. El Sakala is the Second Area and has many Cafes and Bazaars and the fabulous Hurghada Marina. The Port in Hurghada has Ferry Boats which leave to Saudi Arabia and Sharm El Sheikh. The Modern and newest Area is the Touristic Road which lies in front of the Hotels, where you can find many Cafes and Bazaars, El Gouna. A new City in the North of Hurghada is El Gouna, which consists of approx.. Eighteen Hotels, and many Private Villas, which also includes a Private Marina and Airport. The activities you can find in El Gouna are mainly in the field of Water Sports, which includes Windsurfing , Kit Surfing, Water sking, Scuba Diving, Parasailing and Snorkeling. There are three mainAreas in El Gouna which offers Shops, Bars and Restaurants, Downtown, Tamr Henna Square and the Abu Tig Marina. Giftun and Mahmya Islands. Far from it’s Beaches Hurghada has many Islands, however there are two Large Islands which are famous and you can take Tours to them Both. Mahmya and Giftun Islands are the Main Snorkeling and Diving Sites to which Daily Boats carry Diving Parties. The Island consists of Beautiful Sand Reefs, and the most amazing Corals and Exotic Marine Life in the Crystal Clear Waters. The Trips for Snorkeling does include within Itineraries approx.. an Hour to take some time to Relax on Giftun Island. Where to Go Whilst taking your Vacation in Hurghada there are so many Places you can go to discover all the History of the Pharaohs, this includes Daily Flights to and from Cairo, where you can arrange Trips to Visit The Great Pyramids of Giza, the Old in the Memphis Area, Sakkara and the First Pyramid known as the Step Pyramid Dashur, of course The Egyptian Museum, the Historical and interesting Sites in Islamic and Coptic Cairo, Mohammed Ali Alabaster, Salah El Din Citadel and many more Sites in and around Giza and Cairo. You can travel to Cairo from Hurghada by Road and this takes approx.. Six Hours by Car. Hurghada which is opposite the Nile Valley on the Red Sea, so this makes Luxor and Qena an easy and accessable place to Visit. There are Daily Excursions to Luxor which starts at approx.. 5.00am in the Morning from Hurghada to include visits to the Sites of the West ank, Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Habu Temple, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut,plus the East Bank which include the Sites of the Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple, Mummification Museum and the Luxor Museum. There is also the opportunity to Travel to Sharm El Sheikh , St. Catherine Monastery and Moses Mountain by Ferry Boat or by Flight from Hurghada. Also there are Tour Operators in Hurghada that operate Charter Tours to Petra which is in Jordan , which is a Modern Way to add other Cities you can visit during your Hurghada Vacation. Things to Do. There are many varieties of activities on offer in Hurghada of which you can partake, in the Sea or the Desert. One of the Main activities in Hurghada is of course that of Snorkeling and Diving, in the fabulous crystal clear Waters and includes viewing the Amazing Coral Reefs, of which there are Daily Trips by Boat and Operated by Diving Centres, you can also take a Glass Bottom Boat which is a Must if you have Children, as they can view the Coral Reefs without Diving or Swimming. During these Trios there is a Stop at Giftun Island one of the National Parks in Hurghada, other Water Sports to be found in Hurghada are Windsurfing, Kite Surfing and Water Sking, there is also a Sindbad Submarine Trip you can take in Hurghada which you just cannot afford to miss, they Sail Every Day approx.. two or three times and Dive with approx.. Forty Four Passengers that Dive to Twenty Meters Under the Water and view the Magical Marine Life you will find at the Red Sea. Like it’s Beaches and Coral Reefs the awesome Desert of Hurghada is Amazing, so those who have a passion for Adventure definatley have a preference to do the Trips to the Desert and the Mountains. There are Safari Tours you can take through the Desert by taking a 4x4 or feel the Thrill of Riding a Quad Bike over The Desert Sands, during a Desert Trip you have the chance to take a Camel Ride and also learn about the Traditional Bedouin People and their daily Lives. Following from your Trip through The Mountain and Desert you will partake of a Dinner, which is a Bedouin Barbeque Dinner, with the accompliant of Bedouin Music and a Party. There is also the Opportunity to Star Gaze the Beautiful Night Sky with a Powerful Telescope , also there is a Morning Quad Bike Ride for those People who are interested in taking a longer drive to explore the Desert.
