The location of the Red Sea is actually an extension of the Indian Ocean which is between the Continents of Africa and Asia.
There are many theories regarding the name of the Red Sea, one popular theory is believed to be that the Seasonal bloom of a Red colored Cyanobacteria Alga=Trichodsmium erythraeum is what gives the Sea a Reddish Brown color.

DAHAB.
Dahab is a coastal village in the middle of the Eastern Shore of Sinai. Dahab which is now a thriving Diving Community offers many different accommodations such as Hostels through to Luxurios Resorts.
Located on the Water it lies between the Purple Mountains of Sinai and the Waters of the Gulf of Aqaba with the visibility of the Mountains of Saudi Arabia across the Water.
In the Central part of Dahab there are established Restaurants and Hotels for visitors to enjoy, whereas the further North you go the atmosphere is more relaxed and less populated allowing for people who seek a more private and exclusive experience.

The Town of Neweiba which lies approx.. 60km. North of Dahab is very low key with most of the accommodation consisting of Simple Huts on the Beach with a nearby Restaurant, but offers the most in relaxation for the Visitors.
HURGHADA.
Hurghada which is the biggest City on the Red Sea, lies approx.. 1 Hour after El Gouna and 2 Hours before Sharm-El-Sheikh. For the Tourists and Visitors Hurghada International Airport makes it a very easy access route for Travel from Overseas as well as from inside Egypt itself.
It is also possible to reach Hurghada by Road and Shuttle Buses, this form of travelling is very popular among both Tourist and Egyptians who are wanting to enjoy the fabulous Beaches which Hurghada has to offer.
There are three parts to Hurghada which consists of El Dahar, the Old Area, here you can visit the Bazaars and old Markets plus the biggest Mosque and Church.
The Second part which is called El Sakala which contains many Bazaars and cafes, Hurghada Port and the beautiful Marina which you can take a Ferry Boat daily to Sharm-El-Sheikh and Saudi Arabia. The third part is the newest area the Touristic Road, this is in front of the many Hotels, Cafes and Bazaars
EL GOUNA.
El Gouna is a beautiful Resort Town which has become home to many Expats. El Gouna boasts many 5* Hotels and a fabulous Marina Strip which houses some of the best Restaurants in Egypt.
One of the biggest Music Festivals in Egypt is held in El Gouna and there are many options for Nights out. With its perfect wind conditions this makes El Gouna a real favourite among Kite Surfers, with so many different variaties and options El Gouna offers the perfect vacation for all types of Traveler.
There are also fabulous Fishing Trips and Boat Rides and the best sites for experienced Divers who visit every Year.
