El Ain El Sokhna

El Ain El Sokhna The Port of El Ain El Sokhna is one of the Egyptoan Ports which is affiliated to the General Authority for the Red Sea. Located on the Western Coast of the Gulf of Suez on an area of approx.. 22.3 Square Kilometers and 43 km from the City of Suez , the port currently houses more than three hundred and fifty thousand containers. El Ain El Sokhna is one of the more striking destinations you can visit whilst in Egypt. The Coastal Village has been evolved as a Beach Retreat from Cairo , which is accessable by a trip of less than two hours from the City. For the Cruise Passaengers El Ain El Sukhna offers easy access to all of the Sites in Cairo, from the Egyptian Museum to the Giza Pyramids through to the Historical Islamic Cairo. There is also the opportunity to take Tours into the Eastern Desert to journey through and explore this scarcely populated Area and the remnants of Christian Monasteries and Roman Mining Projects. The Eastern Desert Mountains have been mined for thousands of Years and are believed to be the Source of the Rock which was used to construct Some of the more famous Monuments in Rome i.e. The Pantheon.
