Safety and Security in Egypt.
Are you desperate to visit Egypt and see the Sites and experience the History and Culture in Luxor, Cairo Aswan and more, i.e. the Amazing Giza Pyramids, Luxor/Karnak Temples Philae Temple and more but are concerned over safety and security, well do not worry this article covers all concerns over safety and security.
Egypt is a very safe destination for Visitors as Millions of Tourists travel here each Uear from all over the World to enjoy the wonderful History and Culture plus the beautiful Beaches without any problems in regards to personal safety and security. Of course it is understandable that hearing various Media reports of unrest in Egypt is worryinh, but you can be assured that Egypt is one of the safest Countries you can visit, so do come and enjoy as Millions of Tourist already have and will continueto.
Tourist Police.
Police prescence in Egypt is all over but is especially heavier in the Tourist Areas. It is very common to see the Police around Cities such as Cairo in large numbers around certain important buildings and institutions, which some police will be equipped with Rifles. You may not experience this in your own Home Country but here in Egypt it is very normal and it does not mean that there is any danger at all,.
At the Tourist Attraction Sites you will see Police Officers wearing special badges on their Shoulders which reads Tourism Police. These Police Officers are especially designated to make certain that Visitors to Egypt are kept Safe, also the Officers are more likely to speak English, so if you had any concerns at all always go to the Tourist Police who will be pleased to help you
Are there any Health issues to be of concern in Egypt.?
• There are very few Health problems Tourists in Egypt face, but occasionally some may experience stomach problems which can result from drinking Tap Water or eating from Local Restaurants not recommended by their Tour Guides or Hotel Reception.
• Also because of the Heat and the Sun especially during the Summer Months you may find you can suffer from Heatstroke or Sunburn so please make sure you take precautions and drink plenty of Bottled Water and use Sun Screen and cover your head when the sun is at its most highest,.
• DO you need Certain Vaccinations before tyravelling to Egypt.?
• There are no Mandatory Vaccinations that should be taken before being granted a Visa to enter Egypt , although it could be recommended for Senior Persons and Young Children to perhaps have vaccinations against Hepatitis C, Typhoid and oral dose of Tetanus.
• Is Egypt safe at Night for Tourists.?
• When you walk at night in Egypt you have the feeling that you are being kept safe as there is a high procedure for Security at Check Points, at every Tourist Attraction, Shopping Mall, Museums etc.Also in the actual Streets of Egypt.
